Refreshing Streams is the healing and equipping ministry of Kirby & Donna Smith.
Donna’s Bio:
Donna L.H. Smith, D.Min., is a Kansas prairie girl who transplanted to Lancaster County, PA, over 40 years ago. Her education includes a B.S. in Telecommunications (broadcasting) from Oral Roberts University and an M.A. in Mass Communication from Wichita State University. She earned her Doctor of Ministry in 2025 and her Master of Divinity in 2022, both from Global Awakening Theological Seminary (GATS). In 2022, Donna and her husband, Kirby, established Refreshing Streams, a healing and equipping ministry. She is an ordained minister through the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening (ANGA). She also completed the Christian Writers’ Guild’s Craftsman program in 2014.
Donna has long-term writing experience, spanning 40+ years and including award-winning novels that have placed in several writers’ contests and conferences. Her broad writing experience encompasses a wide range of genres, including radio journalism, newspaper and magazine articles, scriptwriting, slide sets and filmstrips, public relations, and marketing and promotional pieces, spanning nearly 50 years. She is now expanding her accomplishments to include academic writing and teaching.
Kirby’s Bio:
Kirby N. Smith, a native of Akron, PA, has worked in the natural foods and nutritional counseling industry for 40-plus years, 42 years at The Akron Nutrition Center, Akron, PA, many of those years as manager. In the 1990s, he received certification in Comprehensive Nutrition from the American Academy of Nutrition (AAN).
